Amazon Introduces the Echo Hub Wall Control Panel for Your Smart Home Devices

Amazon adds even more versatility and functionality to your Alexa-connected smart home with the Echo Hub, a smart control panel to operate all your home gadgets in one place.

The 8-inch wall-mounted display screen lets you connect to every smart device within your house, letting you control them using Alexa voice commands as well as directly on the screen. You can also watch live feeds from your security cameras, rotate through your various devices to check on operational status, and add and remove devices with impressive ease.

It’s not only operating on Wi-Fi, but you can add on a USB-C adaptor to let you plug it directly into an ethernet cable for more reliable connectivity. The built-in IR sensors will switch on the screen when people are nearby and switch it off again to return to “Clock Mode” when there’s no one within operating range of the display.
