Porter’s Iconic Tanker Duffel Bag Fuses Minimalist Style with Adventure-ready Durability

Handcrafted by one of Japan’s best-loved bag brands, the Porter-Yoshida and Co Tanker Duffel Bag draws inspiration from the MA-1 flight jackets used in the 1950s, but still adheres to the Japanese design philosophy of “waste nothing” (mottainai).

Not only is it built from heavy-duty, damage-resistant cordura ballistic nylon, but the bag is treated with a waterproof coating to make it even more adventure-ready. The three-stitch method adds extra durability, as do all of the reinforcements at the various weak points (handles, straps, bottom seams, etc.).

Storage-wise, you’ve got 32L of interior space, multiple inside pockets, and press-stud exterior side pockets for your most important valuables.

For your convenience, the bag has vegan leather-reinforced webbing handles, a removable shoulder strap, and luminous orange lining to make all your belongings easier to see and keep neat.

Really, this duffle bag delivers a blend of form and function that you can’t help but love.
