The Ignik FireCan Portable Campfire Gets an Elite Version with More Heat & Improved Features

Ignik is back with yet another portable fire solution for your hunting, hiking, fishing and camping gear.

The Firecan Elite is the latest third-generation upgrade of their game-changing Firecan, Ignik’s solution to “sustainable campfires”. Though it’s the same shape and size as its predecessors, it’s gotten some great upgrades.

Chief among the improvements is a 5 PSI, high-pressure quick-release propane output that cranks the heat up by nearly 70%, from 38,000 to 55,000 BTUs. Also upgraded is the flame control knob, which lets you control just how hot the fire burns, making it useful for cooking as well as warming up your camp.

The Firecan Elite is also built tougher, with a stainless steel body and a removable lid made out of anodized aluminum. Despite its increased durability, it’s notably lighter than its previous models—just 10.1 pounds.

Best, and most important of all, it’s CSA-certified, which means it’s legal to use in Canada as well as the United States. No more worries about flying sparks causing wildfires; now you’ve got a safe, controllable portable campfire to take everywhere you go.
