The Waterproof Pelican 9000 Light Doubles as an Essentials Carrying Case

There’ll be no basement, attic, garage, river, or campsite too dark, not when you’re packing the Pelican 9000. With a max output of 300 lumens and a run time of 75 hours (on low mode), you’ve got all the light you need wherever you are.

But for kayakers, paddleboarders, and boaters, you’ll be glad to know that this light is purpose-built for your use. It’s IP67 rated, can be submerged under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, and features a small waterproof compartment beneath the light that can be used to store small items: your smartphone, extra batteries for your waterproof walkie talkie, or first aid items.

It’s also got a built-in flashing mode that turns it into a signal beacon that lasts 24 hours—long enough for you to alert passing boats if you’re in need of help or rescue.

It’s built to stand up on your paddleboard or kayak, but can also be clipped to your bungee cord rigging or lifejacket in a pinch. Safety, meets convenience with this clever flashlight.
