The Lexus GX SUV has been given a major overhaul and its tough new looks hint at its off-road prowess.
The Overtrail trim gets chunky 33-inch tires, skid plates and a rear locking differential while an independent front suspension along with a solid rear axle come as standard.
Based on the LX, the new generation GX shows off its Land Cruiser like looks with a boxy styling theme which adds to its menacing presence.
Inside, it’s all luxury with a massive new 14-inch screen and touch sensitive buttons plus you get the options of a semi-aniline leather or suede.
Powertrain choices are limited to a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 along with a 10-speed automatic while a hybrid will join in later.
Given the significant upgrades, the new generation GX will go up in price as well while first examples will reach US shores by early 2024.
