The new Ranger Raptor is everything that you expect from the Raptor badge while coming in a downsized avatar.
Being based on the same platform as the Bronco, the new Ranger Raptor gets an overhauled suspension and powertrain set-up along with plenty of dune bashing gear.
The heart of the matter is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 from the Bronco while chunky 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO3 tires are wrapped around 17-inch wheels.
Elsewhere, there are locking differentials at both the front and rear axle along with a spruced-up interior with larger paddle shifters.
Ford has suitably beefed up the off-road ability including the ground clearance while a raspy exhaust note in Baja mode will be a colorful addition. The Ranger Raptor tops out at $58,555 while orders will start soon with first deliveries slated to start by the end of the summer.
