Dyson’s Zone Headphones Purify the Air Around Your Head While Delivering Stellar Audio

Dyson steps boldly into the audio space with the Zone Headphones, but takes it a step farther by adding an integrated air purifier. Yes, you read that right: these double as both headphones and an air purification device.

On the headphone side, 40mm neodymium drivers deliver sterling sound quality, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and noise cancellation up to 38db. The MyDyson app lets you choose from one of three audio EQ modes (Neutral, Bass Boost, and Dyson EQ) so you can adapt the sound to your preferences.

On the air purifier side, via the attachable, contact-free visor, the dual-stage electrostatic filters claim to filter out 99% of particles down to 0.1 microns, as well as ozone, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. The filters are rated to last for up to 1 year before needing replacement.

Thanks to the 2,600 mAh battery, you get up to 50 hours of run time on pure listening mode, or between 1.5 and 4 hours on air purifier mode (depending on the strength of the setting).
