Ferrari has gone back to its roots and embraced the soft top convertible once again with its new Roma spider.
The already gorgeous Roma now gets a soft top which operates in just 13 seconds and you can do so while driving at speeds up to 37 mph.
To our eyes, the Roma looks even better sans roof as those wide haunches mix very well with a convertible silhouette.
The Roma Spider also gets a new rear spoiler and an updated rear bumper design along with a wind reflector. Buyers can also choose a neck warmer.
No change in the powertrain as the 3.9-liter V8 continues with its rampant 612 horses although Ferrari has tweaked the gearbox.
Expect prices to balloon to about $280,000 for a Roma Spider and it will eventually replace the Portofino M within the Ferrari range.
