Audi is already one of the best-known and best-loved vehicle manufacturers in the world, renowned for their high-speed, tech-forward, ultra-versatile vehicles. Now, they’re bringing their expertise into the world of electric bikes.
The car-maker takes inspiration from the RS Q e-tron E2 desert racer to design the eMTB, an electric mountain bike capable of everything from enduro riding to touring to downhill to off-road trails.
Thanks to the 250-W Brose S-MAG mid-mount motor and SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed mechanical drivetrain, the bike packs a whopping 66.4 lb.ft (90 nm) of torque and offers four levels of pedal assist to help you up even the toughest hills and mountain trails.
The bike also comes with a 720-Wh battery pack designed in Italy by Fantic Motors (though no charge/range specs are available yet).
To ensure you can handle any terrain, the bike is built with a RFX38 M.2 suspension fork, TTX22M mountain bike coil shock, 29-inch front tires and 27.5-inch rear tires, and IN.CA.S disc brakes for serious stopping power.
