SONOS Tries Something Different with it’s First Spatial Audio Speaker: the Era 300

Sonos steps into the future of speakers with the Era 300, its first-ever spatial audio-capable speaker.

It may look odd (like an hourglass tipped on its side), but that design is intentional: it houses an upward-facing tweeter that creates a room-filling sound when combined with its three other tweeters (forward and side-firing).

With two built-in woofers (one on each side), it’s got bass enough to be amazing for everything from action movies to deep dubstep drops.

The USB-C ports allow you to hook the speaker up to a turntable or audio equipment, but the speaker is also Bluetooth-enabled for wireless connectivity.

The integrated top-mounted controls make it easy to manage your speaker directly rather than futzing with an app. With a big, bold sound, it’s a speaker you’ll be happy to add to your home entertainment setup.
