John Deere Launches its First Electric Residential Zero-turn Mower: the Z370R

John Deere joins the electric zero-turn lawnmower game with the Z370R Electric ZTrak. Designed with homeowners and residential landscapers in mind, this little mower can travel up to 7 MPH, turn on a dime thanks to the twin lever controls, cut faster thanks to its 42-inch Accel Deep mower deck, and give you total control over the length of your grass, from 1.25 to 4.5 inches (with quarter-inch adjustments).

With the 3.56 kWh battery fully charged, you can cut a whopping 2 acres, and you can top up the battery without removing it from the mower—just plug it straight into the wall. And if the battery starts running out of juice, it’ll auto-shut-off the mower blades to let you know it’s time to drive back and plug it in.

The battery is also backed by a 200-hour or 5-year warranty. Best of all, the mower is fully sealed against rain so you can mow your lawn even when the sky opens up on your head.
