Bowers & Wilkins Introduce Solid Updates to their Pi7 and Pi5 Earbuds

Bowers & Wilkins just gave their wireless earbuds a huge upgrade—not only a more beautiful, visually appealing color palette, but significantly better battery life, too.

Where once the Pi7 and Pi5 headphones had only 4 hours of battery life, the newer-model Pi5 S2 and Pi7 S2 improve by 25% (5 hours of run time), with between 16 and 19 hours of extra battery life provided by the charging case.

Thanks to the new antenna design on the updated headphones, Bluetooth and wireless range is now 25 meters—more than long enough that you can stay connected to your phone or entertainment devices in most cases.

If you’re already a fan of the B&W earbuds—with their aptX Adaptive sound, 24-bit/48kHz streaming, 9.2mm balanced armature dynamic drivers, digital signal processing tech, and active noise cancellation—the upgrade just made them a whole lot better and better-looking.
