GoPro’s latest updated Hero embodies the excellence that has made its brand synonymous with action cameras. The Hero11 is packed with a plethora of improved features: a 1/1.9 sensor, 24-megapixel still capture, 5.3K and 60 fps video capture, a wider 16:9 lens, improved image stabilization courtesy of HyperSmooth 5.0, Night Effect Timelapse for capturing the starry night sky, 10-bit color, and the Enduro battery that promises to deliver up to 38% longer run time than its predecessor. It also features two sets of controls, the “Easy Controls” perfect for newbies and point-and-shoot photographers and videographers, and the “Pro Controls” for those who want total control over every minute detail of their photo/video capture.
With a $400 price tag (for GoPro subscribers, or $500 for the general public), it’s a masterpiece of action camera technology at a reasonable cost.
