Bugatti’s $5 million Mistral is the Final Goodbye to the W16 Engine

Bugatti pretty much invented the hyper car genre when the Veyron burst onto the scenes with its epic W16 engine. Then we saw the Chiron and its subsequent iterations taking things to an altogether new level. With Rimac and Bugatti now together, electrification is imminent and the Mistral roadster is the final chapter of the W16 powertrain.

It isn’t just a Chiron with a chopped roof as it gets different styling including a sleeker face along with a visor like windshield and X-shaped tail-lamps. These 1600 bhp roofless UFOs will be built in limited numbers and all are accounted for at $5 million each.
