Adidas just solved the biggest problem facing wireless headphones: limited battery life. Not only can you listen to your music for a whopping 80 hours, but thanks to its solar-charging capabilities, you can keep your headphones topped up everywhere you go.
The solar panels, designed by Exeger, are incorporated into the headband of the RPT-02 Sol, and can be charged both by sunlight and artificial light. The built-in light indicator will help you find the best light source to charge the headphones all day long, and you’ll get between 2-3 hours of playback time for every hour spent in light. In addition, they’re also sweat- and splashproof (IPX4) and sturdy enough you can use them for exercise as well as commuting and daily work.
