Hasbro Can 3D Print Your Face on Action Figures

Become your own real-life superhero thanks to this new initiative by Hasbro. The toy-maker is now 3D-printing the faces of its customers onto its iconic action figures—everything from the Power Rangers to G.I. Joe to the Ghostbusters to the X-Wing Pilots.

Thanks to its partnership with Formlabs, a leader in the 3D-printing industry, the “Hasbro Selfie Series” action figures allow users to upload their photos via the Hasbro Pulse dedicated mobile app, and for around $60 (not including shipping), you can have your face printed onto a “collector-grade” six-inch mini-figure. It’s currently only available for U.S. customers, but it’s only a matter of time before the offering expands to the rest of North America, Europe, and ultimately, the world.
