The Commando is a bit of an icon and has cemented the Norton brand name in more ways than one. After a troubled re-start, its new owner, TVS, is once again bringing back this hallowed badge.

The new Commando 961 doesn’t mess with its sepia-tinted styling but underneath there are many modifications including an Öhlins suspension. As the name says, the engine has a 961cc capacity being tuned to comply with the latest emission norms. The new Commando aims to become a more exclusive hand-made cafe racer with an estimated price-tag of $25,000.
