MPVs are passé and Land Rover has further provided evidence in that aspect with its new eight-seater iteration of the Defender. Called the Defender 130, this new behemoth is around 13 inches longer than the already quite long Defender 110.
The stretched rear overhang takes up the extra row of seats in a two-three-three seating configuration. Only six-cylinder powertrains are on offer while off-road ability has taken a minor step back due to the longer rear overhang and the increase in weight. Water wading abilities stays the same though hence, this is the perfect family hauler with an off-road edge. Prices start at $69,350.
