Garmin’s latest running watch is now solar-charged. The Forerunner 955 Solar uses a Power Glass solar charging lens to power up its watch every moment it’s exposed to sunlight. Thanks to this new feature, you can get up to 20 days of use in smartwatch mode, or 49 hours in GPS mode.
The always-on touchscreen display will show all the important run metrics you need to stay on top of your performance, and includes a brand new “Race” widget making it easier for you to train for your next big event. The real-time stamina insights will help you monitor and adjust your pace so you can cross the finish line without gassing. It also features the usual pulse-oximeter, smartphone notifications, heart rate tracking, and Body Battery that makes the Garmin Forerunner line so popular among runners and athletes.
