Fancy a spin in one of the most iconic James Bond vehicles? If you’ve got a couple million dollars lying around, you might just get that chance. Now, Sir Sean Connery’s personal 1964 Aston Martin DB5 is going on sale at Broad Arrow Auctions on August 17-18, 2022, where it’s expected to sell for $1.4 to $1.8 million.
This vehicle—featured first in Goldfinger and subsequently in six more Bond films (including 2021’s No Time to Die—is one of the best-known and most beloved of the Bond cars. Finished in Snow Shadow Grey, with a red Connelly leather interior, 4.0-liter straight-six engine, it’s a true masterpiece kept in pristine condition by the late actor.
Winners of the auction won’t just receive the car, but Sir Jackie Stewart (3-time Formula-1 champ and personal friend to Sean Connery) will accompany them on a drive in their new vehicle. Now that’s real value.
