Awake Boards Launches Vinga eFoil

Swedish watercraft innovators Awake Boards just launched its latest vessel for “surfing” without waves. The Vinga eFoil is a battery-powered hydrofoil that skims above the water’s surface allowing riders to carve and slash just like the real thing.

The standard battery allows for a 20-min ride while an upgrade to the XR model offers up to 2-hours of time on the water. Specs on speed and range have not been announced but the video shows its impressive abilities.
