Jupe: A Synonym for Off-Grid Dwelling

Jupe doesn’t want you to call this thing a tent. Reason: It’s an off-grid dwelling. Despite the canvas walls, it does seem more like a “place” than a thing. Maybe because it was designed by some folks from Tesla & SpaceX (ooooooh!) So, this standalone plywood & canvas shelter ships with a queen-size bed inside and arrives ready to occupy. Jupe’s creators envisioned it as a “short-term rental” alternative or guest space, as it requires no permits or foundation.
