G-Shock Celebrates 25 Years of MR-G with Samurai Commander Armor

Casio is celebrating a quarter century of the premium G-SHOCK MR-G collection with the limited Samurai Commander Armor. Inspired by the intricate armor worn by Samurais, the design was based on a specially commissioned Hana-Basara suit of armor from artisan Suzukine Yuzan. In addition to its armored exterior, the watch’s bezel is made of Cobarian, a cobalt-chrome alloy roughly four times harder than titanium. Only 400 of these warrior watches will be created.
