This Isn’t Dad’s Fender Jazzmaster

The Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is Fender’s newest electric-acoustic hybrid, blurring the line—deliberately so—between guitar and digital device. The results are interesting. It’s got a thin-line mahogany body and a Humbucker pickup. There’s also an integrated digital processor that lets you toggle through an array of ten different “sounds” controlled by a Strat-style blade selector. And with its unique body design, players say it sounds pretty sweet unplugged.
