25 years have passed since IWC first introduced its 3705 ceramic pilot’s chronograph, and to celebrate its enduring legacy, they’ve revived the design in a new material, Ceratanium; a titanium alloy that takes on the properties of ceramic when exposed to extreme heat. The dial is a replica of the original while the movement has been updated to an IWC in-house 69380 calibre, a 12-hour, two register chronograph.
