One of the most iconic cars in Hollywood history will soon be up for auction via Mecum, the perfectly patina’d original Mustang GT from 1968’s Bullitt. Driven by the king of cool Steve McQueen in the original car chase-based film, this ride was a solid co-star, getting viciously red lined and spun sideways through the streets of San Francisco. Experts are betting this auction will set a new record for Mustangs, putting their estimates somewhere north of $2 million when the auction is held in January.
