Jean-Michel Basquiat was a graffiti artist before Andy Warhol and Keith Haring pushed him onto a global stage. His fame and ensuing influence on street & DIY art culture comes full circle in this new collaboration between The Skateroom, The Jean-Michel Basquiat Foundation and Artestar. Drawing on his iconic early paintings, the artworks are printed on maple skateboard decks in a triptychs & one 5-board print of his black & white painting ‘Demon.’
