Valve Releases Index VR Headset

The Valve Index headset is built to deliver an immersive & high fidelity VR experience with advanced visuals via a pair of 1440 x 1600-resolution RGB LCDs, faster 120Hz screens, an IPD slider to adjust the distance between your eyes for a better fit, and a pair of small speakers specifically designed not to touch your ears, in lieu of headphones. The tethered headset will allow you walk around a 10-meter room in VR mode.
