Alien Turns 40 in 4K UltraHD

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Alien, the 1979 sci-fi flick that reshaped the genre, the film will be released in 4K and HDR. Originally shot on 35mm film, this digital Ultra HD remaster was made using the original negative. This special edition also includes the 2003 director’s cut of Alien plus audio mastered in DTS-HD MA 5.1, new commentary from director Ridley Scott, members of the cast and a number of deleted scenes. Available April 23.
