The North Face began as a San Francisco-based climbing equipment retail store, founded in 1966—the same year that the Van Doren Rubber Company started turning out their iconic Vans sneakers in Anaheim. 51 years later they’ve teamed up for a limited edition collaboration. The Vans x TNF Torrey MTE Jacket blends the classic look of a snap-front coaches jacket with the low-profile warmth of TNF’s ultralight quilted ThermoBall synthetic insulation.
