RED Digital Cinema Introduces an 8K Monster

With the introduction of the Red Monstro 8K VV, cinema camera maker RED brings the Hollywood-quality technology of a full-frame, 8K 60 frames-per-second sensor to the new Weapon camera system and is also offering it as an upgrade package for filmmakers using older Weapon systems. This new brain delivers seriously enhanced dynamic range, shoots 35.4 megapixel stills and 120-fps slow motion at 4K quality. Data transfer is also faster at up to 300MB per second.
