For 2021, Porsche made the 911 S not only wider but faster than the outgoing model by squeezing an additional 60 horsepower from its turbo-charged 640 horsepower 3.8-liter flat-six engine. With its turbo-specific eight-speed automatic transmission, it cranks zero to 60 mph in 2.6. Top speed: 205 mph. That’s crazy-fast for how chill the Turbo S looks. Available in late 2020, it will be offered in both a coupe and convertible variant.
The Koenigsegg Gemera is a 1700-horsepower mid-engine hybrid with seating for four. This is the 8th Generation of the compact performer and it’s powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four that makes 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. In addition to the power, GTI branding, and plaid interior accents, a red LED strip under the grill makes clear this is no stock Golf. Sadly, the new Euro-tuned 4-door won’t reach American dealers until the end of 2021.

Beneath a panoramic roof, its sleek interior features a 15-inch touchscreen & digital screens instead of rearview mirrors.

Let’s face it, making a classic Land Cruiser FJ43 look cool is pretty easy. It came that way. Modern men’s fashion-maven Todd Snyder saw an opening though. He thought the addition of a leather interior—using the same leather from Red Wing’s Heritage Classic boots—would make a sweet upgrade. He was right! Of course this Limited FJ also got a ground-up restoration to bring all systems up to 2020 performance. The slate gray paint was borrowed from Porsche and the vintage 2-door got a completely new 228-horse 4.0-liter V6 and tranny.

The forthcoming Pan America is Harley-Davidson’s first ever adventure bike. Like all hogs, it is powered by a V-twin. A liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1,250 cc engine to be exact. Any similarities to a normal Harley end right there. Brembo built the braking system, Michelin developed the tires specifically for the bike. It’s a departure. Built for departures. Big ones. The Pan America will hit HD dealership floors sometime in mid 2020.
Bobsla is not the first snow toy to come out of Austria’s Tirol region. It is however the first electric one we’ve seen. Like a GoKart for the ski slopes, Bobsla is a single-rider EV with dual snowmobile-style tracks powered by a compact 220V system. It sure looks like fun. The question is, will we ever see it shredding ski areas in the U.S.?
There’s a lot going on here. First off, this is a 1968 Lamborghini Espada. Ridiculous & rare to begin with. Then, in 2018, Danton Art Kustoms in France got ahold of it. They agreed a Ferruccio Lamborghini-inspired “Rat Rod” seemed reasonable. Extensive modification ensued. And well, this is it. A true one and only. And now, this extraordinary V12 animal is up for auction through Mecum. Can you guess the magic number?
