They teased us with the limited-edition Rocket 3 TFC back in January but now Triumph’s much-anticipated Rocket 3R is officially out. Along with a GT variant. One word: mean. The 2.5L three-cylinder engine cranks out 164.7 horsepower and163 lb-ft of peel-you-off-the-back torque. This big boy is made slightly lighter by its all-new aluminum chassis & premium features like ABS, navigation, & hill-start assist smooth out the ride.

It’s hard to picture this thing actually rolling down the road but the Curtiss Motorcycles Zeus Radial is a functioning—and super-fast—motorbike powered by an electric motor designed in a cool “V8” configuration. The look of the “engine” is actually 8 cylindrical batteries that make up the “V” formation. The YASA P400 R Series electric motor produces 217 horsepower and 147 lb. ft. of torque. If those numbers don’t mean much to you, we’ll translate: it’s scary fast.

Ducati’s new prototype V4 Streetfighter is a stripped-down & juiced-up variant of their most powerful production bike, the vaunted Paningale V4. Triumph just launched a new division called the TFC or Triumph Factory Custom, that will create limited edition customs, high-performance variants, and develop concept bikes for the future. The first one off the factory floor is the 2019 Thruxton TFC. Based on the stock Thruxton, the TFC is powered by a tuned 1200cc motor and features a carbon fiber body, special V&H exhaust, Öhlins shocks and high-performance Brembo braking systems among its many performance and aesthetic upgrades. Only 750 of these bikes will be made.

Generally speaking, the Royal Enfield Continental GT is a fun but modest little bike. Good for backroads and scenic Sunday spins.
