The German conversion company blew minds with its big-boy debut Sprinter in 2020 but now they’re back with a 4X4 version. It comfortably sleeps and houses four plus it carries all your gear, bikes, kayaks, and other toys with its flexible interior architecture. All the comforts of home plus legit off-road capability.
With the roll-out of the 2022 RS3, Audi reveals it has once again trimmed, tweaked & upgraded their smallest performance car with attention focused on the drive. With increased torque (& a new torque vectoring rear axle) from its 401-horsepower motor, it delivers a very respectable 0-62 time of 3.8 & top speeds hitting 180. The stance looks a bit meaner than the outgoing model & so does the blacked-out grill.
The CE04 from Bavarian Motor Works’ 2-wheel Motorrad division, is an all-electric scooter that boasts a progressive design & innovative connectivity for today’s commuter. With a top speed of 75MPH it’s borderline freeway worthy & a range of 80 miles makes it a great option for the city. Low, sleek body lines, a “floating” seat design, and its 10-inch TFT color screen with integrated navigation mark it as an innovative high-performance entry in the category.
California-based Zero Motorcycles is one of the top producers of electric bikes. And if their new entry-level FXE model rides anything like their high-end SR series bikes, it’s sure to be a blast. It’s powered by a 34 kW (46 hp) motor and delivers a range of 100 miles. Top speed, about 86 MPH.
Marc Gemballa, whose father led the renowned Porsche performance house Gemballa, has been busy building his own custom rides. His debut creation is the Martien. This adventure-sport variant of the 911 boasts 750-horsepower & big knobby tires for slinging gravel while the sculpted lines of the body kit make it look like a factory car.

Taking direct aim at Ford’s Bronco Sasquatch package, Jeep’s 2022 Wrangler Xtreme Recon is a juiced-up Rubicon sitting on 35-inch BFG AT tires. It’s got a factory lift, better angles of approach, departure, and breakover than the Sasquatch as well as 12.9” of ground clearance which is also higher. A new axle, available later this year pairs with the 6-speed manual transmission to make the Recon the industry’s first 100:1 crawl ratio from the factory.
There are options aplenty if you want to drive a 2022 Porsche 911 GTS. The latest 992-generation GTS coupe & convertible will be available in both rear-wheel and AWD configurations as well as an AWD Targa variant. Powered by a twin-turbo 3-liter flat-six, it outputs 437-horsepower through either an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic or a 7-speed manual transmission. All models are available for order now to be delivered in the early months of ’22.
Ripping down the freeway in 4th gear, Ducati’s Diavel 1260 S Black & Steel will surely sound like an angry hornet & if you’re able to get a glimpse you’d see it looks like one, too. This limited-edition variant of their fiercest sport-cruiser features a stealth matte black livery highlighted by hits of vibrant yellow. It is powered by a 1,262cc Testastretta DVT engine that yields 162-hp and legendary low-end torque. Available in July.

Coming into the Ford Trucks lineup as a sort of hybrid mini-Ranger, the 2022 Ford Maverick is a small truck that boasts a solid 40 MPG and a range of 500 miles. Its 4.5-foot bed offers 1,500-pound payload and the powertrain offers a towing capacity of 4,000-pounds. It’s built on the same crossover platform shared by the new Bronco and (gasp) the Escape, and is front-wheel drive only, making it a superb city truck and functional daily driver.
For 2022 Jaguar has dropped the 4 & 6-cylinder F-Types from its lineup, replacing them with the P450; a V-8 powered variant that packs 444 horsepower. It will also be available in either all-wheel or RWD specifications. It jumps from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 177MPH. And for the new model year, the only other F-Type will be the high-performance R variant, fitted with a 575-hp supercharged V-8.
The 2022 BMW M4 Competition Convertible xDrive is the long way of saying there’s a new M4. The all-wheel drive open-top coupe is powered by a S58 3.0-liter straight-six tuned to output 503 horsepower. Which it sends through a 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission—with sixth gear being the direct drive. Top speed, 174 MPH. Though a manual shift model will not be offered, the front-axle can be disengaged to convert it to a pure rear-wheel drive experience. Sounds fun.

Audi just unplugged and unveiled a new all-electric compact crossover. The forthcoming 2022 Q4 E-Tron will be available in 2 variants, including a fresh-looking fastback. Three trim levels will be available as well, with corresponding increases in power, from the 167 hp single motor version to the 295 hp AWD Quattro model. Mileage numbers range from 221 to north of 300. No word yet on the Q4’s USA on-sale date.

Similar in detail to its gas-powered S-Class counterparts, this car delivers a mix of luxury, power, and range that is truly impressive. The EQS features a 107.8-kilowatt-hour battery pack that delivers 480-miles of range. As far as power, the dual-motor version makes 516 hp and 406 pound-feet of torque. 200-kilowatt charging also means that 186 miles of range can be added in just 15 minutes.
