Swedish performance electric brand Polestar has finally forayed into the world of SUVs with its ‘3’ and it will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2023. With a huge 107.0-kWh battery, it is targeting a range of 300 miles while it can also disconnect the rear motor to save battery along with regenerative braking of course.
A dual motor lay-out promises enough performance with 517hp and 910 Nm while the long-range version packs in 489hp and 840 Nm. Equipment levels are impressive with soft-closing doors, a heads-up display, a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins 3D audio system and more. Prices start at $85,300 as the Polestar 3 gets ready to battle it out with the likes of the Tesla Model X and others in the lucrative electric crossover space.
