Sotheby’s Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 with Rare Omega Speedmasters

The 50 year anniversary of NASA’s historic Apollo 11 moon landing is upon us. Sotheby’s is celebrating it with a carefully curated sale of incredible Omega Speedmasters, entitled Omega Speedmaster: To the Moon and Back. Highlights of the sale include two Reference 2915-1s and an Alaska III Prototype. The 2915 being the first Speedmaster model ever created & the “Alaska III” was first made for NASA’s Space Shuttle program in 1978. Many other manufacturer-vetted Speedmasters are also up for auction.
