USPS Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Lunar Landing with 2 New Stamps

To mark the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing on July 20, 1969, the USPS has created two new Forever stamp designs commemorating that historic milestone. One stamp features a photo of Buzz Aldrin in his spacesuit on the moon, taken by Neil Armstrong. The other is a photograph of the moon which shows the landing site of the lunar module indicated on the stamp by a yellow dot.
