Chop & Split Firewood with a Single Swing of the Chopper1 Axe

Originally created in 1977, The Chopper1 axe makes splitting firewood faster and easier than any conventional axe. The key lies in the rotating levers on each side of the axe’s head. When the blade enters the wood, the levers swing out, directing the downward chopping force outward and exploding the log apart from the inside. It chops splits at the same time, making a wedge and mallet obsolete. The design also makes it practically impossible for the axe to become wedged in the wood.
