It’s a 3D smartphone with features like gesture control scrolling & an image stabilizing 13-megapixel camera. But really, it’s a powerful little consumption device optimized for watching movies & TV shows, reading books, and buying more stuff at Amazon.

This little black box is Sony’s PlayStation TV console, offering direct access to the multiverse of Sony’s entire PS library for streaming, download, and play. Later this summer the device will fully come to life with the release of PS Now; Sony’s forthcoming game streaming subscription service. Available December 31, 2014.
