BMW Unveils Revved-Up M5 Competition Model

Taking a direct shot at Mercedes’ luxury-performance AMG lineup, the forthcoming M5 Competition from BMW upgrades the brand’s top 5 series model with more power, revamped suspension tuning, enhanced looks and a throaty exhaust tone. It’s powered by a 617 horsepower 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 that snaps from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds. With the optional M Driver’s package, its top speed of 189MPH leaves MB’s AMG E63 in the dust.
